Story
We’re Rob and Amanda—partners in life, in grit, and now, in momentum.
Fifteen years ago, we stood side by side and said yes to a second chance. Each of us brought a boy and a girl, a past and a hope, and a heart full of dreams we didn’t yet know how to build. We were young in our careers, steady in our ambition, and certain that love would be enough to stitch together a life.
We climbed ladders—Amanda in nursing, Rob in IT—rising into leadership, only to discover that the view from the top didn’t feel like freedom. So we began to ask different questions. What if success looked more like stillness? What if legacy meant soil under our nails and laughter echoing across open fields?
The answers came slowly, over years of late-night talks and quiet reckonings. The pandemic cracked us open. Amanda faced a lupus diagnosis and the solitude of remote work. Rob found his joy in building— ideas & a business of his own. We learned that being alone together was not only bearable, but beautiful. That health might bloom in the rhythm of the land. That the life we longed for was waiting, just beyond one big, brave leap.
So we leapt.
We sold our suburban home, packed up our memories, and stepped into the unknown. Today, we’re ready to plant roots—literal and figurative—on a patch of Texas soil where we will till our dreams into something tangible. Join us on our journey as we write our love letter to legacy, to family, to the art of starting over.

🐾 Daisy
The matriarch of our four-legged crew, Daisy is a gentle giant with soulful eyes and a tender heart. She’s never far from our side—unless something startles her, in which case she’ll need a moment (or three) to recover.
Daisy thrives on routine, prefers her world just so, and has a gaze that feels more human than hound. She’s our steady shadow, our quiet guardian, and the first to claim the front seat on any car ride—especially if it ends at a lake.
🐾 Lulu
If joy had a tail, it would wag like Luna’s. Our younger yellow lab is a burst of sunshine wrapped in fur—bouncy, silly, and always ready to leap before she looks. We often joke she should’ve been named Bunny.
Where Daisy is contemplative, Luna is chaos with a massive grin. She lives for belly rubs, puddle splashes, and the thrill of a treat sack opening.
Together, they’re the heartbeat of our journey—reminding us to stay close, stay curious, and always chase the water.
